Cultural Commentary

When asked what The United States of Amnesia means Gore Vidal said it means what it says, a people without memory. When asked how do you correct it, he said you can't, they will forget.

This is a great talk with one of America's and the world's great thinkers. A person the NYT and corporate media do their best to keep you and I from hearing. This is a rear video that you will never see on the corporate glass nipple (TV). The subject was not Cultural Poisoning but he said a lot about it.

In reflecting on The United States of Amnesia it occurred to me that this is an excellent description of one of the elements of Cultural Poisoning in America. It effects African Americans and European Americans somewhat differently but the forgetfulness (willful ignorance) effects all Americans, for it is built into what is the worst education system in the "1st" world,.

We can not remember recorded history back to its origin Classical African Civilization. We can not even remember basic American historicity. The question is, in November, will Americans remember the last 8 years and get our captured Republic back from the anti-humanists once again.

If we are ever to cure America's Amnesia, November and Obama is our best shot.
